Overlay Test with Ptviewer

These test show examples on how to make quick changes between to states of the same picture [here just a sepia and a full color version - but more interesting examples could be winter/summer or empty / fully equipped room].

The first method is to add the alternate pano as a hotspot overlaying the full panorama.
I work fine but have the minor problem of always showing the hostpot cursor-hand. And it only allows one overlay pano and you might run into trouble if you want more "standard" hotspots. Work with all versions of Ptviewer.

With ROI you can have as many overlay panos as you like [or as the memory allows]. It only works with PTviewer 3.1 or newer. [In the earlier version where the ROI function was not a seperate class file there where no way to turn the ROI pano off once loaded.]

In "ROI Overlay 1 and 1a" the initial and the overlays are all defined as ROI images - and you are able to toggle between the two.

In "ROI Overlay 2" only the overlay are display as ROI. My idea here was to toggle it off using "stopApplet(0)" - But this doesn't seem to work!? Once loaded I can't get it to disapear. Anyone who can explain why??

Remarks: On smaller system there might not be enough power to display the ROI while autorotating - At first it seems like it skips the startApplet part, but if you click in the view after clicking the shotspot the ROI appears almost instantly.
